What are the check-in and check-out times?+
Check-in is from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM and check-out is from 6:00 AM to 10:00 AM. The entrance is closed between 23:00 and 05:00.
What type of rooms can I book?+
Choose from the Deluxe Double Room, Deluxe Family Room, Superior Double Room and Superior Queen Room, all with a private bathroom and kitchenette.
Is breakfast served?+
Steenbok is self-catering. Each room has a kitchenette, and a small on-site shop sells meat, braai packs and supplies. Restaurants are within 400 m to 1.1 km.
Can I park there?+
Yes, free secure private parking is available on site and no reservation is needed.
Is there WiFi?+
Free WiFi is available in all areas of the property.
Are children welcome?+
Children of all ages are welcome. Cribs for children up to 1 year are available on request for ZAR 50 per night. Extra beds are not available.
Are pets allowed?+
Pets are not allowed. The property is also non-smoking and does not host parties or events.
Is there a swimming pool, spa or airport shuttle?+
No, the property does not have a pool, spa or airport shuttle.
How far is Steenbok from Cape Town and the Kgalagadi?+
Brandvlei lies roughly midway on the route between Cape Town and the Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park, making it a popular overnight stop.
