Each unit at Steenbok Self-Catering has its own private entrance and private bathroom with a walk-in shower, free toiletries, towels and a hairdryer, along with a kitchenette equipped with a refrigerator, microwave, electric kettle, kitchenware, cleaning products and a washing machine. Rooms offer air-conditioning, heating and a fan, a flat-screen TV with streaming services, a desk, a dining area, a clothes rack, an iron and ironing facilities, and sockets beside the bed. Free WiFi is available throughout the property and free private parking is available on site with no reservation needed.

Outdoors and dining

Guests can unwind in the garden, by the outdoor fireplace or at the outdoor seating and dining areas, and enjoy a traditional South African braai with the barbecue facilities on the patio. A convenience store on site sells braai packs, meat and other supplies, and restaurants including Boesmanland Instap (400 m), Spykoo Chisanyama (600 m) and Windpomp Restaurant (1.1 km) are close by.

Express check-in and check-out, a wake-up service and invoices are available, with laundry, ironing and babysitting offered at an additional charge. Board games and puzzles are provided for families, and cribs for children up to 1 year can be requested for ZAR 50 per night. The property is smoke-free with a designated smoking area, and is protected by a security alarm, key access, CCTV outside and in common areas, and fire extinguishers. Afrikaans and English are spoken.
